NASHUA - The Hollis/Brookline High School boys basketball team kept it close until midway through the fourth quarter before falling to Thornton Academy 68-54 in the second game of Tuesday's opening-round at the Chick-fil-A Holiday Tournament at Nashua North.

MILFORD - Mike O'Loughlin scored a game-high 20 points to help lead the Milford High School boys basketball team to an 81-54 win over Hollis/Brookline on Tuesday in the Spartans' home opener.
