Plenty of Sabers on Division III all-state football team

The Souhegan High School football team had 16 players from this year's championship team earn Division III all-state honors, including nine who were named to the first-team.

The Souhegan High School football team had 16 players from this year's championship team earn Division III all-state honors,  including nine who were named to the first-team.

Bedford and Hollis/Brookline both had eight players received all-state honors, while seven Milford players were also named to the team.

Following are the first team offense and defense, by team.

First Team Offense

Souhegan: Mike Luks, Matt Schagrin, Brendan McKenna, Chris Chininis. Milford: John Forte, Matt Keefe. Hollis/Brookline: Robert Boivin, Collin Pellerin. Bedford: Jordan Garron. Portsmouth: Quinn McCann, Aidan O'Leary. Con-Val: Jon Queen, Jared Orazio. Goffstown: Matt Poisson. Pembroke: Josh Ellsworth. Pelham: Tim Shaffer.

First Team Defense

Souhegan: Ryan Bullard, Colin Ginnard, Nick Hession, Nick Kepka-Calvetti, Eric Dwinnell. Bedford: Sam McClain, David Cannone, Justin Walsh. Hollis/Brookline: Brian Liamos, Nathan Ferenczhalmy. Milford: Matt Scott, Max Goudeau. Portsmouth: Riley McCarthy, Rick Holt, Matt Feeney. Goffstown: Josh Devriendt, Brandon Shea. Pembroke: Sean Banks.
