The Bishop Guertin High School boys basketball team opened up a double-digit lead in the first quarter and held off Nashua North in a 73-54 win Friday night.
Division II
MILFORD – The Milford High School boys basketball team had been scoring points like crazy. Not Friday night against Pelham. Fortunately, the Spartans can play defense, too.

It’s never been about the points for Rachael Carter. That didn’t stop the Merrimack High School senior from scoring them, and in a win over Spaulding last Tuesday, Carter reached a milestone only few high school basketball players do.

There may not be any favorites among the locals going into Saturday's division wrestling meets, but there are plenty of wrestlers with a shot to bring home a title.

The Milford High School boys basketball teams remained undefeated Tuesday night, putting up enough points to hold off high-scoring Goffstown in a Division II game.

The Dover High School boys basketball team won the fourth quarter and it led to a four-point win over Merrimack Tuesday night in a Division I matchup.

AMHERST – The Souhegan High School girls basketball team has turned in some of its best performances in the second half of games.

The big question for this week: Can the Milford High School scoreboard go up to triple digits? It might need to on both sides on Tuesday night, when the Spartans host the high-scoring Goffstown boys basketball team. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
Division I
The Nashua High School North boys track team finally got its championship Sunday by winning the Division I indoor meet at Dartmouth College. After finishing third indoors a year ago and as the runner-up last outdoor season, the Titans have the first boys team championship in school history.
Division I
The Bishop Guertin High School girls track team won its ninth straight indoor title Sunday at the Division I championship at Dartmouth College, and this time it wasn't even close. The Cardinals' placed in 11 of the 12 events and their 95 points were 29 better than runner-up Manchester Central (66).
Division II
The Milford High School girls track team entered Sunday's Division II indoor track championship with the hopes of winning a second title in three years. Despite some strong efforts, the Spartans came up short.
