Green, White earn Player of the Year honors for girls basketball
Meghan Green and Jane White both helped the Bishop Guertin and Souhegan high school girls basketball teams, respectively, to championships this season. For their efforts, both were named Player of the Year in their division.

David Downie of Merrimack High School was named the Division II boys hockey Player of the Year, and was one of over a dozen area players to receive All-State honors. Downie, who had 25 goals for the Tomahawks this season, was also named to the Division II first team, while Bedford coach Marty Myers
