Nashua North tries to build off win, hosts Londonderry
The Nashua High School North football kept working and working last Friday night against Winnacunnet. Eventually, the Titans hard work paid off.
Division II
Merrimack goes for first win against Dover
What a difference a year makes. Last season, the Merrimack High School football team opened the season with a win over Hollis/Brookline.
Division III-IV
Souhegan hosts title-game rematch with Portsmouth
To some, it's the biggest Division III game of the regular season. To the Souhegan High School football team, it's the first game that will count this season, when the Sabers host Portsmouth Friday at 7 p.m. in Amherst.

Watch it: Alvirne at Pembroke football
Alvirne football defeated Pembroke 48-14 in last Saturday's season opener.

Watch it: Londonderry at Milford football
Milford opened the 2011 season with a 13-6 win over Londonderry.

Alvirne opens season with big win over Pembroke
PEMBROKE – Tony Beaulieu and Ryan Rule each scored two touchdowns and the Alvirne High School football team cruised to a 48-14 win over Pembroke Academy in a non-division game Saturday.

Milford grinds its way to win over Londonderry
MILFORD – The 2011 football season didn’t exactly get off to the start the Milford High School wanted it to. It didn’t take long for the Spartans to fix that Friday night.
