The NHIAA has postponed all outdoor games for Thursday, due to potential thunderstorms and record-breaking heat. The boys volleyball semifinals scheduled for Thursday at Nashua North are still on as scheduled.

Jake Mellin pitched the Nashua High School North baseball team back into the Division I semifinals Saturday, while the Bedford baseball team needed some late-game heroics to get itself a return trip to the final four and a rematch in Division II. The Bishop Guertin High School boys lacrosse team will be looking for its second-straight Division I title Wednesday when it takes on Pinkerton Academy in the final.

A total of seven area high school lacrosse teams advanced to the semifinals Thursday, setting up two all-area matchups in both Division II girls and boys lacrosse.

CONCORD - The Bedford High School boys tennis team had a clear goal going into this season. The Bulldogs topped off an undefeated season a year ago with a championship, and they wanted to do it again in 2011.

The high school baseball playoffs are scheduled to begin Thursday, and the Division I field has plenty of Greater Nashua teams among the high seeds.
