Division II
The Alvirne High School football team isn’t playing for a postseason spot, but that doesn’t mean Friday night’s contest against Manchester West isn’t a big game for the Broncos.
Division I
The Nashua High School North and South football teams already know they’ll be playing when the postseason starts on Nov. 13. Everything else is up for grabs.

But before that, our group of high school football "experts" try to successfully predict the outcome of a handful of select games from around the state.

The Wilton-Lyndeborough boys soccer team is heading back to the championship game for the first time in eight years after beating top-seeded Profile 1-0 Wednesday in the Division IV semifinals.
Division II
The Hollis/Brookline High School girls soccer team lost for the first time since August on Tuesday. Unfortunately, it came in the Division I semifinals.
Division III-IV
NASHUA – There will be no recount following this Election Day’s results, at least, not on the soccer field. The Souhegan High School girls could have used one Tuesday at Stellos Stadium.

While everyone else in Division I and II was battling it out on the football field in games that would decide the postseason, the high school football teams from Nashua North and Merrimack were playing what amounted to a mid-season exhibition game last Friday in the next-to-last week of the regular
Division I
Jeff LaCoste finished first in the Division I boys cross country championship meet, helping his Bishop Guertin High School team to a fourth-place finish overall Saturday at Derryfield Park in Manchester.
Division I
Two local boys soccer teams, two girls soccer teams and one volleyball team advanced to the semifinals of their respective tournaments over the weekend, and all will try to advance to the final on either Tuesday or Wednesday.
