Vollyball All-State: Alvirne's Gingras earns coaching honor
The Alvirne High School girls volleyball team was the No. 4 seed in the Division I tournament and advanced to the semifinals this season.

The Alvirne High School girls volleyball team was the No. 4 seed in the Division I tournament and advanced to the semifinals this season.
Two Broncos players were amongthe 15 local players to receive all-state honors, while Alvirne coach Lisa Gingras was named the Division I Coach of the Year.
Alvirne's Cassie Larocque was named to the Division I first-team, along with Bishop Guertin's Natalie Wingate, Hollis/Brookline's Hanna Mazzola and Nashua North's Lauren Wingate.
Earning Division I second-team honors were Deanna Purcell of Alvirne, Jenn Duggan and Catherine Kazazian of Merrimack and Nashua South's Caitlin Ackerman. Holly Zaharchuk of Bishop Guertin also received honorable mention.
Division II
Milford's Bri Leonard and Bedford's Becca Gosselin were both named to the Division II first-team, while Laura Cannon of Milford and Isabella Stuopis of Souhegan received second-team honors.
Meg Delaney of Bedford was named honorable mention.
Division III
Brittany Tyler of Wilton-Lyndeborough was named to the Division III second-team.
