Trinity boys basketball hangs on to beat Merrimack

MANCHESTER - Carmen Giampetruzzi scored 24 points and Wenyin Gabriel had 20 as the Trinity High School boys basketball team defeated Merrimack 62-57 on Saturday.

The win moves the Pioneers (12-1) into sole possession of second place in Division I.

Merrimack (12-2) got 18 points each from Shayne Bourque and Austin Franzen, while Eric Gendron added 12 points.
