Tomahawks drop first match of the season

The Merrimack High School girls volleyball team fell to Londonderry in four games, 23-25, 25-15, 25-15 and 25-10, in a Division I match on Monday.

Bree McCarthy had 14 assists for the Tomahawks (2-1) and Maggie Kenney added 10 kills. Cat Kazazian and Allison Latham each had three blocks.

Londonderry was led by Megan Schwarz, who had 16 kills, and Katie Schwarz, who had 15 kills. Amy Johnson added 32 assists and Kelsey Enright had eight digs.

Merrimack returns to the court Wendesday at Hollis/Brookline.
