After taking the top three spots at the Class L boys track championships, Bishop Guertin, Nashua North and Merrimack put three athletes each on the All-State first team.
Division III-IV
The Souhegan Pirates rallied twice to beat Monadnock 12-11 in Senior Babe Ruth action on Wednesday. The Pirates fell behind 6-0, but a three-run second and a five-run fourth gave Souhegan an 8-6 lead. After compiling the best record in Class L, the Nashua High School North baseball team had five players receive All-State baseball honors. The Titans had three players named to the Class L first-team to lead 29 local players who were recognized with All-State honors.
Division II
The Souhegan Pirates opened Senior Babe Ruth play by splitting their first two games in Southern League action. The Pirates knocked off the Nashua Chiefs at home 7-4 and fell to the Hollis/Brookline Dodgers 10-3.
Division I
A dozen local softball players were named All-State first team, and 24 players total received All-State honors. Two local coaches also were honored as Coach of the Year in their respective classes.

The Souhegan High School baseball team saw its season come to an early end after being upset by Merrimack Valley in the first round of the Class I playoffs.
