Souhegan advances with win over Walpole
The Souhegan Pirates stayed alive in the Senior Babe Ruth Southern Division tournament, beating Walpole 11-1 in five innings on Sunday. The game was shortened due to the mercy rule. James Astbury got the win for the Pirates, pitching a complete game while striking out seven and allowing three hits.

Nick Hession hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead the Souhegan Pirates to a 10-9 win over Keene Thursday in Senior Babe Ruth action. The Pirates broke open a 6-5 game with a four-run fifth inning, but Keene scored two runs in the sixth and one in the seventh to tie the fin
