Only four teams remain in the American Legion baseball state tournament, including defending champion Londonderry Post 27, which will get the action start on Monday. Post 27 will take on Post 79 at 4 p.m. at Holman Stadium, followed by Goffstown Post 16 and Rochester Post 7 at 7 p.m.

After rain postponed the final two games on Friday, five games were played in the American Legion baseball state tournament at Holman Stadium on Saturday. Two teams - Hudson Post 48 and Laconia Post 1 - were eliminated from the tournament, which was scheduled to resume at 9 a.m. on Sunday.

The Nashua Chiefs played their way into the Senior Babe Ruth Southern League tournament championship game with two wins on Thursday. Now Nashua will get one more crack at the Salem Cardinals in a winner-take-all game at 5:30 p.m. on Friday at Holman Stadium.

The Hollis/Brookline Dodgers scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning to defeat the Souhegan Pirates 7-5 in the loser's bracket of the Senior Babe Ruth Southern League Championship on Monday.
Division III-IV
The Souhegan Pirates stayed alive in the Senior Babe Ruth Southern Division tournament, beating Walpole 11-1 in five innings on Sunday. The game was shortened due to the mercy rule. James Astbury got the win for the Pirates, pitching a complete game while striking out seven and allowing three hits.
