Sunapee Lakers

Taylor Usko had two goals and Kate Frederick added a goal and an assist to help lead the Sunapee High School girls soccer team to a 4-0 win Tuesday over Newport.

Syd Clark put the Lakers (3-0) on the board in the 21st minute off an assist from Mary Grzanna and Frederick made it 2-0 five minutes latter, scoring off a cross from Taylor O'Mara. Shantel Camber made two saves while Sunapee got off 25 shots.

Usko made it 3-0 with a goal from the top of the box, going left to right, and added an unassisted goal with nine minutes left in the game.
