Spaulding's Creteau earns New Hampshire Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year honors

Leah Creteau has another honor to add to her a list of accomplishments from the fall.

The Spaulding High School senior was named New Hampshire's Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year on Tuesday for her efforts in helping the Red Raiders to a 16-5 season and a spot in the Division I semifinals for the second time in four years.

Creteau, who was also selected as the D1 Player of the Year by the New Hampshire Volleyball Coaches Association, is the first Spaulding player to receive the award.

As a senior, Creteau recorded 294 kills, with a kill percentage of .385, and had 274 digs and 44 aces. For her career, she had 686 digs and 744 kills, a school record and good for 16th all-time in New Hampshire.
