# Souhegan tennis teams sweep Kingswood

The Souhegan High School boys and girls tennis each pulled out a win over Kingswood in Class I action on Friday.

The boys snapped a five-match losing streak by winning 7-2 over the Knights, while the girls cruised to a 9-0 win.

For the boys (6-5), Sam Protzmann won the No. 1 singles match, beating David Mesa, 8-4, while Nick Poulack took the No. 2 match over Peter Gibson, 8-5\. Protzmann and Nishon Radhakrishnan also won the No. 1 doubles match over Mesa and Gibson, 8-3.

Nate Redington lost to Kingswood's Nick Moulton in the No. 3 match, 8-5, but Redington and Poulack beat Moulton and Alden Garland, 8-5, in the No. 2 doubles match.

Liam Murphy won the No. 4 match over Garland, 8-4, and Alex Kinney took the No. 5 match, beating Ryan Lane, 8-6\. Kingswood's Niles Babcock beat Souhegan's Alex Fogelgren, 8-5, in the No. 6 match. Fogelgren and Jake Moskawitz defeated Babcock and Lane, 8-1, in the No. 3 doubles match.

### GIRLS

On the girls (7-4) side, both Emily Readdy and Alex Silva won their matches 8-0\. Readdy defeated Michelle Tuttle in the No. 1 match while Silva knocked off Sarah Coulter at No. 2\. The pair also won the No. 1 doubles match over Tuttle and Coulter, 8-0.

Emily Parrett won the No. 3 match over Susan Dennett, 8-2, and Mia Ommundsen took the No. 4 match, beating Rhianna Llewellyn, 8-0\. Caroline Hagen topped Meghan Rothermel, 8-0, at No. 5 while Emily Hagen defeated Jess Lapar, 8-2, at No. 6.

Parrett and Ommundsen also won the No. 2 doubles match over Rothermel and Lapar, 8-0, while Hagen and Hagen won the No. 3 match, 8-2.
