# Souhegan sweeps Hollis/Brookline, Con-Val in three-team meet

AMHERST - The Souhegan High School track teams picked up two wins apiece on Friday, beating Hollis/Brookline and Con-Val in a three-team meet.

The Saber boys scored 114 points to top second-place Con-Val (61.5) and H/B (12.5), while the Souhegan girls scored 120 points to best H/B (43) and Con-Val (21).

Tanner Kent led the Souhegan boys by winning the 200-meter dash (24.7), the 1,600 (4:54.3) and the triple jump (35-6.5) and Alex Hodsdon came in first in the pole vault (11-6) and the discus (104-3). Dennis Elverson won the 100 (11.7) and took second in the 200 while Bert DeForest was first in the 110 hurdles (16.8) and second in the 800, the triple jump and the high jump.

Andrew Coates won the high jump (5-8) and James Tabor took first in the shot put (39-6). Mitchell Stallman finished first in the long jump (15-9.5) and was fourth in the 200 while Ryan Sickler won the 400 (55.9) and Jason Bender was first in the 3,200 (11:13.3). Kenneth Dobbs finished second in the 110 hurdles and third in the 100 (tied) and the high jump. Souhegan also finished first in all three relays.

H/B was led by Kyle Lorden, who came in fourth in the 400 and tied for third in the 100.

### Girls

Souhegan got three first-place finishes from Isabella Stuopis, who won the shot put (36-2), the discus (107-0) and the javelin (97-6). Erin MacDonald added two first-place finishes, taking the top spot in the 100 (13.3) and the 200 (27.4) while finishing third in the long jump.

Rachel Springmann took first in both the 100 hurdles (18.0) and the 300 hurdles (55.3) while Sarah Hurd was first in the high jump (4-7) and was second in the 800\. Jade Humphreys came in first in the 400 (1:05.7) and was third in the 100 while Angela Blume took first in the 800 (2:32.6) and Csilla Va'mos was first in the 3,200 (12:08.4).

Miclyn Noorda won the triple jump (28-11.5) and Min-Lu Kelly-Durham was second in the triple jump and fourth in the 800\. Caree Pitts took second in both the shot put and the discus while Jessica Dustin was third in the triple jump and the javelin. Micaela Wilson was second in the pole vault and fourth in the 100 hurdles and Abigail Calfin was third in both the 100 hurdles and the high jump. Souhegan also won all three relays.

Meghan Philpot led H/B with a win in the 1,600 (5:37.8) and second in the 3,200 while Lindsay Beauregard was first in the long jump (14-10) and was third in the 200\. Lindsey Vazquez came in second in the 100, the 200 and the long jump. Emily Benz took third in the 3,200 and fourth in the 1,600 and Gwynn Noel came in second in the 300 hurdles and fourth in the long jump.
