Souhegan rallies for another win
Matt Schagrin drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead the Souhegan High School baseball team to a Class I win over Oyster River on Monday. The Sabers improved to 4-0 on the season with the 5-4 victory over the Bobcats.

Schagrin had two RBI singles, the first coming in the third to give Souhegan a 2-1 lead. In the seventh, Chris Almeida singled and advanced on a pair of wild pitches. DJ Petropulos followed with a walk and then stole second before Schagrin hit a line drive to center field to scored Almeida.
Nick Hession got the win, pitching a complete game and allowing 10 hits and one walk to go with six strike outs. Hession added a solo home run in the second inning that tied the game at one.
Alemida also had a triple and two runs scored and Petropulos added a RBI single and threw out a runner trying to steal.
Joe Cerra and Chris Chininis pulled off a double steal in the sixth inning to tie the game at four.
