Souhegan falls to Con-Val
The Souhegan High School baseball team played well, but fell to Con-Val 4-2 on Tuesday. Zack Polio pitched a complete game for the Sabers, giving up four runs on five hits and five walks, but the Sabers fell to 6-7 in Division II.

The Cougars got out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning, but Souhegan answered in the top of the second. Chris Chininis singled, went to second on a passed ball, stole third and scored on a single by Robby McCormick. With two outs, Chris Almeida tripled, scoring McCormick to tie the game at 2.
Con-Val went ahead with two runs in the bottom of the second, and Souhegan loaded the bases in the third and the sixth, but couldn't get a run across.
