Souhegan boys soccer knocks off Trinity

Kade Colen had two assists to help lead the Souhegan High School boys soccer team to a 3-1 win over Trinity on Tuesday.

Colen assisted on goals by Mike Hayden and Jake Lawrence. Devan Casey also scored for the Sabers (2-2 in Division II), with the assists going to Greg Snow.

Brendan Dix made nine saves in goal for Souhegan, which took a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute on Hayden's goal. Lawrence made it 2-0 in the 49th minute and Casey put the game out of reach in the 69th minute.

Trinity spoiled Dix's shutout with a goal in the 73rd minute.

Ryan Peterson played well for Souhegan while Sam Leedy and Matt Hopfenspriger were also strong in victory.
