Souhegan boys soccer holds off Pembroke

The Souhegan High School boys soccer team got three goals from three players Tuesday to defeat Pembroke 3-1.

Josh Massa, Josh Anson and Ali Eweiss each had a goal for the Sabers (6-2), with Anson, Nate Chamberlain and Devan Casey each recording an assist. Teigue Young made fives for Souhegan.

Pembroke (6-3) got a goal from Jeremey Caruso (assisted by Zach Allen) in the 44th minute that tied the game 1-1, but Anson scored in the 66th minute and Eweiss added an insurance goal in the 73rd minute.

Brendan Godin made nine saves for the Spartans.
