Souhegan boys soccer blanks Portsmouth

The Souhegan High School boys soccer team scored a goal in each half to knock off Portsmouth 2-0 on Tuesday.

Josh Massa gave the Sabers (4-2 in Division II) the lead in the 10th minute, scoring off an assist from Ali Eweiss, and Keelan MacKenzie gave Souhegan some breathing room with his goal in the 65th minute. Josh Anson got the assist and Erik Richardson played well in the midfield.

Teigue Young made seven saves to get the shutout for the Sabers, while Portsmouth got 11 saves from Wiley Hunderwork.
