# Smith scores twice to lead Nashua South girls soccer to win

Lauren Smith scored two goals, including the game-winner, to help lead the Nashua High School South girls soccer team to a 3-1 win over Winnacunnet on Friday.

Abbey McIntosh added a goal and an assist, and Smith also assisted on McIntosh's goal to help the Panthers win their Division I season opener.

Smith opened the scoring in the 38th minute, but the Warriors tied it on a goal by Shauna Morrison in the 52nd minute. But Smith answered for South (1-0) just five minutes later, with an assist going to Emily Durette.

McIntosh scored with three minutes left to put the game out of reach for the Panthers.

South heads to Salem for its next game on Tuesday.
