# Second quarter run helps lift Hanover boys lacrosse past Merrimack

MERRIMACK - The Hanover High School boys lacrosse team broke open a close game in the second quarter Monday and held off Merrimack to win 13-4 in Division I action.

The Marauders (4-2) outscored the Tomahawks (2-4) 6-0 in the second quarter and took a 7-1 lead into halftime. Hanover added three goals in the final 4:34 of the game to put away the win.

Ben Acker led Hanover with three goals and three assists and George Geraghty added three goals and one helper. Brendan Forauer chipped in with two goals while Jin Kim and Conor Auston each had a goal and an assist.

Also scoring for the Marauders were Gus Lyons, Reed Winter and Brian Seltzer (one goal each) and Ben Reichert had an assist. Zander Lingelback-Pierce made nine saves.

Merrimack got two goals from Mark Coburn while Matt Brewster and Connor Cyr had a goal apiece. Chris Nowalk made six saves for the Tomahawks.
