The Souhegan High School girls tennis team fell to St. Thomas 5-1 on Friday, in a match that was stopped after singles play because of an injury to a St. Thomas player.
Erin Heaney got Souhegan's only win, taking her singles match after her opponent was forced to withdraw. St. Thomas' Julie Keenan, the defending state singles champion, won the No. 1 match 8-2 over Souhegan's Emily Parrett.
