For the second time in a week, the girls high school tennis teams from Souhegan and Hollis/Brookline met on the courts on Friday.

After the Cavaliers won last Monday, the Sabers got revenge, with the girls winning 5-4.

The Souhegan (5-3) girls lost to H/B (5-2) on Monday, 5-4, on a tiebreaker in the final match.

While the final score was the same, the match didn't come down to the wire like the previous one. The Sabers took four of the six singles matches and got the one win needed in the doubles to take the victory.

Emily Readdy and Alex Silva won the No. 1 doubles match 8-2 over Naomi Jefferson and Erica Tamposi to give Souhegan the match. Silva also defeated Tamposi in the No. 2 singles match, 8-3, while Readdy lost to Jefferson, 8-3, in the No. 1 match.

Emily Parrett of Souhegan won the No. 3 match, beating H/B's Caroline Barrett 8-5. Souhegan also got singles wins from Mia Ommundsen, who won the No. 4 match 8-5 over Sam Razzaboni, and from Caroline Hagen, who won the No. 5 match 8-3 over Laura Sercel.

H/B's Kelsey Tulley won the No. 6 match over Maura Belander, 8-6.

The Cavs won the final two doubles matches, with Barrett and Razzaboni defeating Parrett and Ommundsen, 8-2, in the No. 2 match, while Tulley and Sara Ericson knocked off Belanger and Hagen, 8-4, at No. 3.
