Sabers rally to defeat Bulldogs
The Souhegan High School baseball team avenged its only loss of the season Monday, rallying to defeat Bedford 5-3 in Amherst. After losing to the Bulldogs 7-3 last Wednesday in Bedford, the Sabers (10-1) scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth for their sixth comeback win of the season.

Terry Dugdale got the win for Souhegan, pitching a complete game and allowing one earned run on three hits with nine strikeouts. Bedford's Luke Olen also pitched well, striking out 12 in the loss.
Dugdale added a solo home run and Chris Almeida also scored on a passed ball early, but the Sabers still trailed 3-2 entering their half of the sixth.
DJ Petropulos led off with a single and Matt Schagrin walked before Kyle Beaulieu's RBI single tied the game. Nick Hession game Souhegan the lead with a single to center and the Sabers added another run on the Bulldogs' lone error.
