The Souhegan High School baseball team rallied from a 7-0 deficit to defeat Hollis/Brookline 8-7 in a Class I game on Friday.

Tyler Hansis pitched seven innings of relief, entering the game with no outs in the first inning, and allowed three runs - two earned - on five hits to go with four strikeouts for his first varsity win. Souhegan (6-0) made a season-high seven errors through the first three innings.

In the fifth inning, the Sabers loaded the bases on a single by Kyle Beaulieu, a fielder's choice by Chris Chininis and Tim Beliveau was hit by a pitch. Tyler Manoogian then cleared the bases with a double, and DJ Petropulos followed with a RBI single to make it a 7-4 game.

The Souhegan rally continued in the sixth, as six straight batters reached base. Nick Hession and Beaulieu singled ahead of RBI singles by Chininis and Robby McCormack. Beliveau was hit by a pitch again, and with the game tied at seven, Petropulos hit a sacrifice fly to score McCormack with the winning run.
