Sabers get another big win over Cavs

The Souhegan High School girls basketball team took another step toward an undefeated season, knocking of Hollis/Brookline 52-34 Tuesday night.

Christan Wojtas had 14 points for the Sabers (16-0 in Division II) and Mickenzie Larivee added another 14 off the bench. Jane White also scored 13 for Souhegan, which ends its regular season with games against Kingswood (5-12) and Con-Val (4-12) on Thursday and Friday.

It was the last game of the regular season for the Cavaliers (15-3), who will likely finish fifth in the standings following the loss. Katie Stopera led H/B with 10 points and the Cavs scored just 14 in the first half after guard Kelsey Berry went down early with an injury.
