Windham (1-0) at Milford (0-1)

  • When: Friday, 7 p.m. at Milford.
  • Last Game: Windham beat Hollis Brookline 49-18; Milford lost to ConVal 17-14 in OT.
  • Last Meeting: Windham won 42-6 on Sept. 10, 2016.
  • FYI: The Jaguars defense recorded 10 sacks and two turnovers against Hollis Brookline and consistently gave the offense the ball on the positive side of midfield ... the Spartans played without two starters last week, including senior captain Michael Boucher ... it was Milford's first loss to ConVal since 2009.

ConVal (1-0) at Manchester West (0-1)

  • When: Friday, 7 p.m. at West.
  • Last Game: ConVal beat Milford 17-14 in OT; West lost to Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton 35-30.
  • Last Meeting: ConVal won 46-0 on Sept. 9, 2016.
  • FYI: Andrew Skilling hit a 26-yard field goal on the first possession of overtime to give the Cougars the win ... it's only the second made field goal for ConVal in coach Paul Landau's four years ... West had a 24-12 lead at one point against H-D/H ... Jaymeson Maheux had 171 yards rushing and a touchdown on 18 carries for the Blue Knights.

Sanborn (0-1) at Hollis Brookline (0-1)

  • When: Friday, 7 p.m. at Hollis.
  • Last Game: Sanborn lost to St. Thomas 27-0; Hollis Brookline lost to Windham 49-18.
  • Last Meeting: Hollis Brookline won 28-22 on Sept. 10, 2016.
  • FYI: Chris Hannah had 166 yards rushing for the Indians last week, but as a team, Sanborn had just 180 yards ... the Cavaliers lost quarterback Joey Delaney on the seventh offensive play last week and his status is uncertain ... Sander Wimmer made his first varsity appearance at quarterback and threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns.

Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton (1-0) at Bow (1-0)

  • When: Friday, 7 p.m. at Bow.
  • Last Game: Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton beat Manchester West 35-30; Bow beat Pembroke 41-0.
  • Last Meeting: Bow won 42-6 on Sept. 10, 2016.
  • FYI: Aidan Horne led the Redhawks offense with 187 totals yards and three touchdowns ... H-D/Hopkinton scored 23 second-half points and had 218 yards on offense after halftime ... Matt Harkins picked up where he left off last year, throwing for three touchdowns last week, including two to Jack Wixson.

Plymouth (1-0) at Kennett (0-0)

  • When: Friday, 7 p.m. at North Conway.
  • Last Game: Plymouth beat Kingswood 43-0; Kennett had a bye last week.
  • Last Meeting: Plymouth won 35-6 on Sept. 10, 2016.
  • FYI: The Bobcats got touchdowns from five different players in last week's win, including two from Nolan Farina ... Plymouth has won four of five previous meetings with the Eagles since the teams moved into Division II.

Kingswood (0-1) at Laconia (0-1)

  • When: Friday, 7 p.m. at Laconia
  • Last Game: Kingswood lost to Plymouth 43-0; Laconia lost to Hanover 16-7.
  • Last Meeting: Laconia won 28-24 on Sept. 9, 2016.
  • FYI: The Knights have been shut out four times in their last 13 games, dating back to 2015 ... the Sachems managed to gain just 90 yards on offense against Hanover ... Cole Zickert set up the only touchdown for Laconia with a strip sack and recovery, and later scored on a 3-yard run.

Hanover (1-0) at Merrimack Valley (0-1)

  • When: Friday, 7 p.m. at Penacook.
  • Last Game: Hanover beat Laconia 16-7; Merrimack Valley lost to Lebanon 32-14.
  • Last Meeting: Hanover won 53-29 on Sept. 9, 2016.
  • FYI: The Marauders got a big game from Caleb Putnam, who battled a leg injury during the preseason but opened the regular season with 167 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries ... the Hanover defense recorded seven sacks and three takeaways against Laconia ... Merrimack Valley hasn't won a season opener since 2013.

John Stark (0-1) at Gilford-Belmont (0-1)

  • When: Saturday, 1:30 p.m. at Gilford.
  • Last Game: John Stark lost to Souhegan 14-7; Gilford-Belmont lost to Pelham 14-6.
  • Last Meeting: John Stark won 42-0 on Sept. 10, 2016.
  • FYI: The Generals came up short in their opener, despite having a first-and-goal at the 9-yard line in the final moments of the game ... Parker McQuarrie threw for just 147 yards and had two interceptions for John Stark ... the Golden Eagles allowed six sacks in the loss to Pelham.

Pelham (1-0) at St. Thomas (1-0)

  • When: Saturday, 2 p.m. at Dover.
  • Last Game: Pelham beat Gilford-Belmont 14-6; St. Thomas beat Sanborn 27-0.
  • Last Meeting: St. Thomas won 35-6 on Sept. 9, 2016.
  • FYI: Brett Lindsay led the Pythons' offense last week, rushing for 91 yards and two touchdowns ... Pelham got both scores in the first half and then held the Golden Eagles off the board until late ... the Saints got a big game from their three offensive threats - Tim Bouchard ran for 126 yards on eight carries, Shawn DeKorne threw for 207 yards and Jack Benelli caught six passes for 149 yards and a touchdown.
