The Wilton-Lyndeborough boys soccer team is heading back to the championship game for the first time in eight years after beating top-seeded Profile 1-0 Wednesday in the Division IV semifinals.

The fourth-seeded Warriors will take on No. 2 Derryfield, which beat No. 3 Lisbon 3-0 in the other semifinal, in the title game at 12:15 p.m. Saturday at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester.

WLC got the [only goal of the game](http://www.nashuatelegraph.com/sportshighschoolsports/898437-221/warriors-heading-to-final.html?ref=nh-highschoolsports.com) in the second half from Taylor Roche, who scored off a deflected shot by Adam Edmunds.

The Warriors played Derryfield twice during the regular season, losing at home to the Cougars 4-1 on Sept. 13 and tying them at Derryfield 0-0 on Oct. 1.

The Cougars, who are in their third straight championship game, will be looking for their second title in a row. It will be Derryfield's 16th title game appearance (13-3) since boys soccer was divided into four classes in 1986\. The Cougars won the first seven Class S titles from 1986 to 1992, and 10 of the first 11.

It will be WLC's first title game appearance since 2002, when the Warriors lost to Derryfield, and its just the fifth time WLC has made it to the final. Back when there was only one class for soccer, WLC defeated New London in 1962 - the school's only boys championship in any sport - and the Warriors were also the runner-up in 1967 and 1970, both times losing to Oyster River.

### Division II boys soccer

The Bedford boys soccer team will be playing for its first championship after knocking off top-seeded Merrimack Valley 1-0 Wednesday in the Division II semifinals. The Bulldogs will take on No. 2 Hanover, which defeated No. 6 Lebanon 3-0 in the other semifinal, at 4 p.m. Sunday at SNHU.

The Marauders won the only regular-season meeting between the teams 1-0 on Sept. 25 at Hanover.

Hanover won the last five Class I titles, and has played in 22 championship games (16-6) since winning its first title in 1968\. No. 4 Bedford is in its fourth year as a varsity program and is making its first trip to the title game.

### Division I girls volleyball

No. 4 Alvirne [saw its season come to an end](http://www.nashuatelegraph.com/sportshighschoolsports/898438-221/story.html?ref=nh-highschoolsports.com) Wednesday night as the Broncos lost to No. 1 Londonderry 3-0 in the Division I semifinals. The Lancers (21-0) will go for their second straight title at 5 p.m. Saturday at Pinkerton Academy against No. 3 Salem, which [knocked off](http://www.fosters.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20101104/GJSPORTS%5F01/711049575/-1/FOSSPORTS03&ref=nh-highschoolsports.com) No. 2 Spaulding in the other semifinal.
