# Playoff Roundup: Sabers reach D2 final

The Souhegan High School girls basketball team is [headed to a title game](http://www.nashuatelegraph.com/sportshighschoolsports/912116-221/unbeaten-souhegan-set-to-take-final-step.html?ref=nh-highschoolsports.com) for the first in 15 years following Thursday's 43-39 win over John Stark in the Division II semifinals.

Despite trailing for most of the game, the No. 1 Sabers (21-0) were able to beat No. 12 John Stark for the second time this season thanks to 15 points from Jane White, who was 3-of-4 from the free throw line down the stretch, and 10 points from Christan Wojtas.

Souhegan is in the championship game for the fourth time in school history, and the first since winning back-to-back titles in 1995 and '96\. The Sabers will face No. 2 Lebanon, which avenged last season's title-game loss to Kennett with a 59-56 win in the other semifinal.

Lebanon will be making its fourth final appearance in the last five years; the Raiders last title came in 2007.

Souhegan and Lebanon will meet at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Southern New Hampshire University.
