And then there is the Division I East/West Cluster. Nashua North (5-0) and Exeter (4-1) have put themselves into position to grab the top two seeds as conference winners, although both still have work left to do. But the other two spots are up for grabs among four, and maybe even five, teams. If the playoffs were to start this week, the two teams in would be Bishop Guertin (3-2) and Nashua South. But Merrimack (3-2), Portsmouth-Oyster River (3-2) and even Spaulding (2-3) are also in the mix for one of those two spots and it may take until the final week of the season sort it out. South already has a win over Merrimack and a loss to Bishop Guertin, who lost to the Tomahawks last week. The Panthers and Cardinals both have a win over P-OR while the ClipperCats and the Tomahawks both own a win over Spaulding. The Red Raiders have the toughest remaining schedule, playing Exeter, South and BG over the next three weeks, while P-OR still has to play Merrimack, Exeter and North. Bishop Guertin and Merrimack also still have North on the schedule while South plays Exeter on the final night of the regular season. That game could be the final piece to what should be an exciting playoff puzzle. Here is how each division looks as the sixth week of the regular season is about to get underway. *Note: Divisions I, II and III will have eight playoff teams and Division IV will have four playoffs teams. These are not official standings or pairings.* ## Division I For the 2019 season, the division is split into the North/South cluster and the East/West cluster. The top team in each conference earns a playoff berth and will be seeded Nos. 1 and 2 based on win/loss record. The next two best teams in the cluster, again based on win/loss record, will be seeded Nos. 3 and 4. ### North/South cluster **North Conference** - Bedford (5-0, 13.6000) - Goffstown (4-1, 10.4000) - Manchester Memorial (1-4, 2.0000) - Manchester Central (1-4, 2.0000) - Concord (1-4, 2.0000) **South Conference** - Londonderry (5-0, 13.6000) - Salem (4-1, 9.6000) - Pinkerton (2-3, 4.8000) - Windham (2-3, 4.8000) - Timberlane (0-5, 0.0000) **Tiebreakers:** Londonderry wins the tiebreaker with Bedford for the No. 1 seed thanks to a better football rating in road games against division opponents. **Playoff matchups:** No. 1 Londonderry vs. No. 4 Salem; No. 2 Bedford vs. No. 3 Goffstown. ### East/West Cluster **East Conference** - Exeter (4-1, 10.8000) - Portsmouth-Oyster River (3-2, 7.2000) - Spaulding (2-3, 4.8000) - Winnacunnet (1-4, 2.4000) - Dover (1-4, 2.0000) **West Conference** - Nashua North (5-0, 14.4000) - Bishop Guertin (3-2, 8.4000) - Nashua South (3-2, 8.4000) - Merrimack (3-2, 8.4000) - Keene (0-5, 0.0000) **Tiebreakers:** Bishop Guertin, Nashua South and Merrimack finish ahead of Portsmouth-Oyster River in a four-way tiebreaker thanks to a better footballs rating.
