Playoff Picture: Field Hockey (Oct. 16)

(Oct. 16) The final week of the field hockey regular season is here and there is still a lot to be sorted out in all three divisions.

That’s why we will be updating the playoff picture every day this week, to see where each team stands and what is on the line from day to day. Here is where every team is at going into the final week.

Note: For field hockey, Division I will have 12 teams, Division II and III will have 11 teams. Standings based off results reported to NHIAA.org and other media outlets. These are not official standings or pairings.

• Keene has clinched the No. 1 seed.
• Dover will clinch the No. 2 seed with a win over Windham or a loss and a loss or tie by Exeter in either of its final two games.
• Exeter can clinch the No. 2 seed with a Dover loss and two wins or a win and a tie in its final two games.
• The top eight teams have clinched a home playoff game in either the preliminary round or the quarterfinals.
• Goffstown is eliminated with a loss to Keene. If the Grizzlies beat the Blackbirds, they will need help to get in.
