# Playoff Picture: Division III & IV Football (Oct. 9)

Here’s a look at what the postseason fields would look like in Division III and IV football, if the playoffs started this week.

## Division III

This season, the top eight teams, based on football rating, make the postseason and are seeded 1-8.

**Playoff field (record, rating)**

1. Monadnock (6-0, 14.6667)
2. Campbell (6-0, 13.6667)
3. Stevens (5-1, 9.6667)
4. Laconia (4-2, 9.3333)
5. Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton (4-2, 9.0000)
6. Trinity (3-2, 8.3333)
7. Lebanon (3-3, 5.3333)
8. Somersworth (2-4, 3.6667)

**Outside:** Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough (1-5, 3.0000); Epping-Newmarket (1-5, 2.0000); Kearsarge-Mount Royal (0-6, 0.0000); Newport (0-6, 0.0000).

**Quarterfinals**

- No. 8 Somersworth at No. 1 Monadnock
- No. 5 Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton at No. 4 Laconia
- No. 7 Lebanon at No. 2 Campbell
- No. 6 Trinity at No. 3 Stevens

**Games to watch:** Laconia at Monadnock, Friday, 6:30 p.m.; Trinity at Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton, Saturday, 1 p.m.; Kearsarge-Mount Royal at Newport, Saturday, 1:30 p.m.; Stevens at Lebanon, Saturday, 6 p.m.

## Division IV

This season, the top four teams, based on football rating, make the postseason and are seeded 1-4.

**Playoff field (record, rating)**

1. Winnisquam (4-0, 13.0000)
2. Franklin (4-0, 11.5000)
3. Newfound (3-1, 9.5000)
4. Raymond (2-2, 6.0000)

**Outside:** Bishop Brady (1-3, 3.0000); Mascoma Valley (1-3, 2.5000); Fall Mountain (1-3, 2.5000); Farmington-Nute (0-4, 0.0000).

**Semifinals**

- No. 4 Raymond at No. 1 Winnisquam
- No. 3 Newfound at No. 2 Franklin
