# Playoff Picture: Division III & IV Football (Oct. 23)

Here’s a look at what the postseason fields would look like in Division III and IV football, if the playoffs started this week.

## Division III

This season, the top eight teams, based on football rating, make the postseason and are seeded 1-8.

**Playoff field (record, rating)**

1. Monadnock (8-0, 18.2500)
2. Campbell (7-1, 13.2500)
3. Trinity (6-2, 12.0000)
4. Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton (5-3, 9.2500)
5. Laconia (5-3, 9.0000)
6. Lebanon (5-3, 8.2500)
7. Stevens (5-3, 8.0000)
8. Somersworth (4-4, 5.7500)

**Eliminated:** Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough (1-7, 2.5000); Epping-Newmarket (1-7, 1.5000); Kearsarge-Mount Royal (1-7, 1.2500); Newport (0-8, 0.0000).

**Quarterfinals**

- No. 8 Somersworth at No. 1 Monadnock
- No. 5 Laconia at No. 4 Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton
- No. 7 Stevens at No. 2 Campbell
- No. 6 Lebanon at No. 3 Trinity

**Remaining schedule:** Monadnock at Kearsarge-Mount Royal, Friday, 7 p.m.; Lebanon at Campbell, Saturday, 11 a.m.; Laconia at Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough, Saturday, 12 p.m.; Stevens at Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton, Saturday, 1 p.m.; Epping-Newmarket at Newport, Saturday, 1:30 p.m.; Somersworth at Trinity, Saturday, 7 p.m.

## Division IV

This season, the top four teams, based on football rating, make the postseason and are seeded 1-4.

**Playoff field (record, rating)**

1. Winnisquam (6-0, 14.3333)
2. Newfound (5-1, 11.6667)
3. Franklin (5-1, 11.0000)
4. Fall Mountain (3-3, 6.0000)

**Outside:** Raymond (2-4, 4.6667).

**Eliminated:** Farmington-Nute (1-5, 2.3333); Bishop Brady (1-5, 2.0000); Mascoma Valley (1-5, 2.0000).

**Semifinals**

- No. 4 Fall Mountain at No. 1 Winnisquam
- No. 3 Franklin at No. 2 Newfound

**Remaining schedule:** Franklin at Winnisquam, Saturday, 1 p.m.; Bishop Brady at Farmington-Nute, Saturday, 2 p.m.; Fall Mountain at Newfound, Saturday, 2 p.m.; Raymond at Mascoma Valley, Saturday, 2 p.m.
