Playoff picture: Division II football

With four weeks remaining in the regular season, its time to start thinking about the postseason. Here's a look at where Division II football teams stand, who still has a shot and which games will be important down the stretch.

East Conference

1. St. Thomas (4-1, 10.0 rating)
2. Merrimack Valley (3-2, 7.2)
3. Kingswood (1-3, 3.0)
4. Pembroke (1-4, 2.0)
5. Manchester West (0-4, 0.0)

If the conference title game was this week: Merrimack Valley at St. Thomas. The Saints picked up a 17-12 win over the Pride on Sept. 20.

North Conference

1. Kennett (5-0, 12.4)
2. Laconia (3-1, 10.0)
3. Lebanon (3-1, 9.0)
4. Kearsarge (2-2, 5.5)
5. Plymouth (1-3, 3.5)
6. Hanover (1-3, 3.0)

If the conference title game was this week: Laconia at Kennett. The two teams will play at Kennett on Oct. 24.

South Conference

1. Windham (5-0, 12.8)
2. Milford (4-1, 10.8)
3. Souhegan (2-2, 6.5)
4. Pelham (2-2, 6.0)
5. Trinity (2-2, 5.5)

If the conference title game was this week: Milford at Windham. They will play each other in Milford on Oct. 24.

West Conference

1. Sanborn (2-2, 6.0)
2. Hollis Brookline (2-3, 6.0)
3. Monadnock (2-2, 5.5)
4. John Stark (1-4, 2.0)
5. ConVal (0-4, 0.0)

If the conference title game was this week: Hollis Brookline at Sanborn. The Indians already have a 14-13 win over the Cavaliers from Sept. 20.
