Playoff Picture: Division II football (Sept. 25)

One matchup of unbeaten teams took place in Division II last weekend, and another is on the schedule for this weekend.

While the Plymouth High School football team pulled off a convincing win over Bow in a rematch of last year's championship game, this week, it will be a rematch of the two previous title games, as Windham travels to the seacoast to face St. Thomas.

Both teams sit at the top of the South Conference with 4-0 records heading into Saturday's 2 p.m. kickoff. It'll be the eighth meeting all-time between the two programs since 2010, with the Saints holding a 4-3 edge. However, Windham has won three of the last four.

Along with the Jaguars and Saints, there are three other teams off to a 4-0 start in D2. Plymouth and Hanover are off to the same start in the North Conference, while ConVal has opened up with four wins in four games for the first time in program history. The Cougars have a bye this week before they host Hollis Brookline on Oct. 6.
