# Playoff Picture: Division II football (Oct. 12)

In Division II, it's a race to get to six wins.

With each passing week, it looks more and more like getting that sixth win - and at worst finishing 6-2 - is going to be the key to making the postseason. In fact, right now, there's only one team with two losses in the playoff field, and one team with one loss that is on the outside looking in, thanks to tiebreakers.

But there's still a lot of big games left to be played. In the North Conference, John Stark still has fellow contenders Hanover and Bow left on the schedule in the final two weeks of the season. The Generals may need to win both those games to keep their hold on a playoff spot, while the Falcons will need that win to boost their rating.

In the South Conference, Hollis Brookline helped itself out with a big win over ConVal, but the Cavaliers face a big game in the regular-season finale against Souhegan, which could need a win there to solidify its playoff position.

Here’s a look at what the D2 postseason would be like if it started this week.
