When the schedules were first put together, the Winnacunnet High School football team had to look at the three-game stretch its currently in and wonder what exactly the season would like on the other end.

In three straight weeks, the Warriors will have played the last two Division I champions, sandwiched around the team that both beat to win their titles, and so far, they've been just fine.

After knocking off Bedford and Exeter in back-to-back weeks, Winnacunnet (4-0) will host Goffstown (4-0) on Saturday at 2 p.m. in a game that will give the winner the inside track at the No. 1 seed in the East/North Cluster.

"We learned a lot about ourselves," Winnacunnet coach Ron Auffant said after Saturday's win over Exeter. "The first two wins, we weren’t sure who we were. We faced two very good football teams. It’s still a long way to go. Hopefully, we can improve each week and get better each week."

There were two changes to the playoff field after last weekend's games, with Nashua South and Nashua North switching places at the top of the West Conference. And with Exeter falling to Winnacunnet, Manchester Central moves up to the final playoff spot in the East/North Cluster.

Here’s a look at what the D1 postseason field would be like if the playoffs started this week.

- Winnacunnet wins the tiebreaker with Goffstown for the No. 1 seed thanks to a better overall rating.
- Bedford wins the tiebreaker with Manchester Central for the No. 3 seed thanks to a better overall rating.

**Games to watch this week:** Goffstown at Winnacunnet, Friday, 7 p.m.; Manchester Central at Portsmouth, Saturday, 1:30 p.m.; Exeter at Bedford, Saturday, 6:30 p.m.
