Playoff Picture: Division I football (Oct. 23)

The final week of the regular season is here and this is what we know.

Seven of the eight playoff spots have been taken, with one spot in the East/North Cluster still up for grabs. That spot will be taken by the winner of Friday's game between Manchester Central and Bedford.

Winnacunnet and Salem are the top seeds in each cluster, and Goffstown and Nashua South have clinched the other home games in the quarterfinals.

Pinkerton, Londonderry and Exeter will all be on the road for the quarterfinals, as will the winner of Central-Bedford.

Here’s a look at what the D1 postseason field would be like if the playoffs started this week.

• Manchester Central wins the tiebreaker with Bedford thanks to a better rating in road games against divisional opponents.

Quarterfinals: No. 4 Manchester Central at No. 1 Winnacunnet; No. 3 Exeter at No. 2 Goffstown.
