Playoff Picture: Boys Lacrosse (May 25)

It’s a little more than a week until the start of the boys lacrosse postseason in New Hampshire, so here is a look at where each team stands and who is in and who is out in all three divisions.

Note: With the NHIAA’s new 70-percent rule in place for the postseason, Division I and III boys lacrosse will have eight playoff teams and Division II will have 12. Standings based off results reported to NHIAA.org and other media outlets.

• All byes have been clinched. If Dover beats Salem, it's the No. 1 seed. If the Green Wave lose, Derryfield is the No. 1. Hollis Brookline and Portsmouth are third and fourth, respectively.
• Merrimack Valley, Windham and Timberlane have all clinched a home game in the quarterfinals.
• To clinch the eight seed, St. Thomas needs to beat Windham. A St. Thomas loss opens the door for Keene, Winnacunnet or Kingswood to move up to the eighth seed.
• John Stark gets the 12th seed if it beats Bow. Goffstown gets the 12th seed if it beats Portsmouth and Bow beats John Stark. Bow gets the 12th seed if it beats John Stark, and Goffstown loses to Portsmouth and Pembroke loses to Oyster River.
