# Playoff Picture: Boys Lacrosse (May 22)

It’s the final week of the regular season and there’s still a lot left to be decided before the start of the boys lacrosse playoffs.

Here’s a look at where teams in all three divisions stand as the tournament season creeps closer. These standings and brackets are available to Sports Insider Members only; you can signup for a membership by clicking the button below.

*Note: Divisions I and III will have eight playoff teams, while Division II will have 12 teams. Standings based off results reported to NHIAA.org and other media outlets. These are not official pairings.*

### Division I

**Playoff field (record, rating)**

1. Bishop Guertin (16-0, 4.0000)
2. Pinkerton (14-2, 3.5000)
3. Exeter (13-3, 3.2500)
4. Bedford (11-6, 2.5882)
5. Londonderry (10-6, 2.5000)

- **Tuesday:** Pinkerton at Lincoln-Sudbury (Mass.), 4:30 p.m.; Nashua North at Nashua South, 6 p.m.
- **Wednesday:** Duxbury (Mass.) at Bishop Guertin, 5 p.m.; Concord at Merrimack, 7 p.m.; Souhegan at Exeter, 7 p.m.
- **Thursday:** Bishop Guertin at Concord, 4 p.m.; Manchester Central at Salem, 5 p.m.; Londonderry at Hanover, 5 p.m.; Merrimack at Bedford, 5:30 p.m.
- **Friday:** Hollis Brookline (D2) at Nashua North, 3:30 p.m.; Exeter at Pinkerton, 5 p.m.

**Scenarios**

- Bishop Guertin has clinched the No. 1 seed.
- Pinkerton is the No. 2 seed if it beats Exeter (May 25), or if Exeter loses to Souhegan.
- Exeter is the No. 2 seed if it wins out.
- Bedford clinches the No. 4 seed with a win over Merrimack.
- Londonderry clinches the No. 4 seed with a win over Hanover and a loss by Bedford.
- Salem has clinched the No. 6 seed.
- Nashua South has clinched the No. 7 seed.
- Hanover has clinched the No. 8 seed.

**Quarterfinal matchups**

- No. 8 Hanover at No. 1 Bishop Guertin
- No. 5 Londonderry at No. 4 Bedford
- No. 7 Nashua South at No. 2 Pinkerton
- No. 6 Salem at No. 3 Exeter

Quarterfinals are scheduled for Saturday, June 2, at the home of the higher seed.

**Tiebreakers**

- Dover wins the tiebreaker with Goffstown thanks to a head-to-head victory.

**Scenarios**

- Derryfield has clinched the No. 1 seed.
- Portsmouth will clinch the No. 2 seed with a win.
- Dover, Goffstown, Merrimack Valley and Winnacunnet still have a shot at a bye.
- Windham has clinched a top eight seed.
- Kingswood has clinched a playoff spot.

- Laconia can get the No. 1 seed if it wins out and Hopkinton loses one, or both, of its two final games.
- Pelham and Plymouth have clinched playoff spots.
