It’s a little more than six weeks until the start of the boys and girls hockey postseason in New Hampshire, so here is a look at where each team stands and who is in and who is out in all four divisions.

Note: With the NHIAA’s new 70-percent rule in place for the postseason, Division I boys and girls hockey will have nine playoff teams, Division II will have 10 and Division III will have eight. Standings based off results reported to NHIAA.org.

Division I

Falling: Londonderry played just one game last week, but the top of the standings are so close, that one loss dropped the Lancers four spots.

Tiebreakers

  • Bishop Guertin wins the tiebreaker with Salem thanks to a better rating against tournament teams.

First-round game

  • No. 9 Exeter at No. 8 Hanover

Quarterfinal matchups

  • Exeter/Hanover winner at No. 1 Bedford
  • No. 5 Salem at No. 4 Bishop Guertin
  • No. 7 Manchester Central at No. 2 Concord
  • No. 6 Londonderry at No. 3 Pinkerton

Rising: Dover survived a four-game week by going 2-2 and moving from seventh to fifth.

Falling: Spaulding has lost three in a row to drop from fifth to out of a playoff spot.

Tiebreakers

  • Windham wins the tiebreaker with Bow thanks to a better rating against tournament teams.
  • Dover wins the five-way tiebreaker thanks to a better rating against tournament teams. Kingswood then gets the next spot, thanks to a better rating against tournament teams among the remaining four teams, followed by St. Thomas, also for a better rating against tournament teams. Oyster River wins the tiebreaker with Lebanon-Stevens for more divisional wins on the road.
  • Merrimack wins the tiebreaker with Spaulding thanks to a head-to-head victory.

First-round games

  • No. 10 Merrimack at No. 7 St. Thomas
  • No. 9 Lebanon-Stevens at No. 8 Oyster River

  • Hollis Brookline-Derryfield wins the tiebreaker with Pembroke-Campbell thanks to a head-to-head win.
