Pioneers beat Blue Knights to remain undefeated

The Trinity High School boys basketball team won another low-scoring game against a city rival, outlasting Manchester West 42-36 on Saturday in a Division I game.

Andrew Lauderdale had 10 points for the Pioneers (7-0) while Wol Majong added eight as Trinity led 17-16 at halftime, and outscored the Blue Knights (3-4) by five in the second half. Zack Stevens chipped in with seven points for Trinity and Mabor Gabriel and Sylvere Aluko added six each.

Jose Gonzalez led West with 12 points while Aaron Martin added 10 markers for the Blue Knights.
