The Pinkerton Academy girls basketball team is ready to make some noise this season.

With almost all of its lineup returning, the Astros look to improve on a quarterfinal appearance from a year ago, and fans across the state will get an up-close look at how they do.

For the first time, Pinkerton girls basketball will be featured on “The Season,” the behind-the-scenes video series from NH-HighSchoolSports.com. The first episode will be released on Dec. 26, with new episodes posted every Thursday starting on Jan. 4.

It's the first time a program from the school, located in Derry, will be featured. Pinkerton will be the third basketball team featured, following the Souhegan boys (2012) and the Bishop Guertin girls (2019-20) teams.
