Peterson's goal gives Souhegan boys soccer win over Manchester West

Ryan Peterson scored in the 19th minute and that was the only goal needed by the Souhegan High School boys soccer team in a 1-0 win over Manchester West on Friday.

Ben Pham assisted on Peterson's goal as the Sabers improved to 4-3 in Division II, while West falls to 1-6.

Brendan Dix made three saves for Souhegan while Reed Larson made several tackles along the back line, breaking up a number of West's scoring chances. Sam Leedy and Kyle Richardson also played well on defense.

Greg Andrews made six saves for West.
