# Pairings set for field hockey playoffs

Merrimack will open the playoffs at home Wednesday against Salem, while Winnacunnet earned a bye into the quarterfinals.

The field is set for the postseason in all three field hockey divisions, and the playoffs get underway starting Tuesday, with the Division II preliminary round.

Here's a look at all of the first-round matchups.

## Division I

### Preliminary round (Oct. 22, at higher seed)

- No. 9 Concord (6-7-1) at No. 8 Exeter (7-6-1), 3 p.m.
- No. 12 Manchester Central (4-10) at No. 5 Londonderry (9-4-1), 3 p.m.
- No. 10 Salem (6-7-1) at No. 7 Merrimack (8-5-1), 3 p.m.
- No. 11 Bishop Guertin (6-7-1) at No. 6 Bedford (9-4-1), 3:30 p.m.

### Quarterfinals (Oct. 25, at higher seed)

- Exeter-Concord winner at No. 1 Pinkerton (13-1)
- Central-Londonderry winner at No. 4 Keene (10-4)
- Salem-Merrimack winner at No. 2 Timberlane (12-2)
- Bishop Guertin-Bedford winner at No. 3 Winnacunnet (12-2)

## Division II

### Preliminary round (Oct. 21, at higher seed)

- No. 9 Hanover (6-7-1) at No. 8 Merrimack Valley (7-7), 3 p.m.
- No. 12 St. Thomas (5-9) at No. 5 Portsmouth (9-3-2), 3 p.m.
- No. 10 Plymouth (6-8) at No. 7 Derryfield (8-6), 3 p.m.
- No. 11 Goffstown (5-9) at No. 6 Milford (9-3-2), 3:30 p.m.

### Quarterfinals (Oct. 24, at higher seed)
