Here are the selections for Week 2:
Player of the Week
- Mike’s Pick: Jacob "Bubba" Bryan, Souhegan. The senior turned a memorable two-way performance in the Sabers' 29-13 win over ConVal. Bryan had 25 tackles on defense while rushing for 137 yards and two touchdowns on offense.
- Joe’s Pick: Nate Bowen, Bishop Guertin. The senior quarterback had a near-perfect game for the Cardinals in their 42-14 win over Exeter. Bowen was 19 of 20 passing for 314 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions, as Bishop Guertin improved to 2-0.
Team of the Week
- Mike’s Pick: Pinkerton. The Astros bounced back from their season-opening loss with a little bit of payback. Pinkerton avenged a loss in last year's Division I title game with a 40-7 win over Bedford, just the second loss for the Bulldogs in their last 41 games.
- Joe’s Pick: Plymouth. The Bobcats improved to 2-0 on the season with a dominant all-around performance in a 35-0 win over Kennett. Cavan Sanborn accounted for four touchdowns and the defense kept the Eagles in check all game long.
