# New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Football Coaches Poll gets a little shake up in the middle

While the top two teams remained the same, the rest of the top six got a shuffle in this week's New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Football Coaches Poll.

Bedford received 12 first-place votes to hold on to the No. 1 spot for the second week in a row and sixth time this season, and Pinkerton grabbed three first-place votes and held on at No. 2.

Nashua South traded spots with Bishop Guertin after the Panthers beat the Cardinals last week, with South moving up to No. 3 and Bishop Guertin dropping to No. 4\. Winnacunnet did the same after beating Manchester Memorial, as the Warriors went to No. 5 and the Crusaders moved down to No. 6.

The rest of the poll remained the same, with Windham coming in at No. 7 and Souhegan finishing at No. 8\. Exeter held on at No. 9 and Plymouth rounded out the top 10.

Here is the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Football Coaches Poll for this week. These are the top 10 football teams in the state, with record, first-place votes/points (T=tie) and last week’s ranking.

1. Bedford (6-0), 12/147, 1st
2. Pinkerton (6-0), 3/138, 2nd
3. Nashua South (5-1), 119, 4th
4. Bishop Guertin (5-1), 105, 3rd
5. Winnacunnet (5-1), 88, 6th
6. Manchester Memorial (5-1), 68, 5th
7. Windham (4-2), 52, 7th
8. Souhegan (6-0), 37, 8th
9. Exeter (4-2), 28, 9th
10. Plymouth (6-0), 18, 10th

**Dropped out:** None.

**Others receiving votes:** Salem (3-3), 11; Pelham (6-0), 7; Londonderry (3-3), 6; Merrimack (3-2), 2; Monadnock (6-0), 1.

The coaches poll is voted on by football coaches from around the state and members of the media. The will be updated every Monday throughout the regular season.
